Peg people

A new obsession has taken over our home. Peg people from Lee Valley. So far we have made Little Red Riding Hood, the wolf, Granny and the Woodcutter; Octavius, Santa and Joseph in his Technicolour Dreamcoat. We have just received the rest of the backorder. Before painting (or Sharpie-ing), the regiments led by Octavius and Santa have been mowed down by DaVinci's catapult. Things might change once they are painted. But hopefully not.

(I guess the morning's breakfast may have helped.)

Did you really eat a mushroom with your pears for breakfast? You can guess what your sister is thinking...

Peg People. Catapulting Peg People. Octavius and Santa. How fantastic!

My children love their peg people.

I did not eat a mushroom with a pear. That privilege belonged to BTG whose unusual eating habits have been noted before. My mushrooms are consumed in teeny tiny cooked pieces hidden among the tomatoes, or whatever and preferably unchewed so as to not notice them. She eats hers in large portions, in all their rawness. Amazing.

Notice the book title? Eating mushrooms might come in handy.

I noticed the book title...might have to look that one up, it would be popular around here.
As for the peg people...very cool! I'm not sure I should introduce those here or we might be taken over as well!
